The summer schedule has been added to the Sniper Website (sniperwrestlingacademy.com). Sessions will be held on Mondays, Wednesdays and Flex Fridays, with additional training opportunities to be added during the summer at no charge, including pop-up Saturday camps/Sunday open mats.
They will also be doing another clothing order so watch for details.

Forty-two Groton Area students are attending the 2025 South Dakota HOSA: Future Healthcare Professionals convention this week.
We have students competing in a variety of events including health career display, HOSA bowl, medical spelling, extemporaneous writing, dental science, forensic science, persuasive writing, sports medicine, creative problem solving, health education, health career photography, job seeking skills, respiratory therapy, CPR/first aid, family medicine physician, clinical nursing, phlebotomy and prepared speaking
Our High School Track & Field Team will go to Milbank on Thursday, April 17th for the South Dakota National Guard Meet!
- Field Events begin at 3:30pm
- Running Events begin at 4:00pm

The next track and field meet for our high school athletes will be this Friday, April 11th, at the Ipswich Tiger Early Bird Meet. (This meet was scheduled for today/Tuesday, but got postponed until Friday).

- Admission Cost: $6 Adults & $4 Students
Attached is the schedule. You will see that they added some middle school events to the meet (highlighted). Groton is not taking middle school athletes to this meet.

Good Luck to our two Destination Imagination Teams that will be competing tomorrow, April 5th, at the State Tournament in Pierre! The top team in each division is invited to attend DI Global Finals at the end of May in Kansas City!!
The Triple A’s Destination Imagination team members include: Ava Strom, Aryanna Cutler, Freddy Cole, Aschar Warrington, and Conrad Rix.
The Seven Pentagoni Pickles Destination Imagination team members include: Jernie Weig, Willow Cowan, Taylor Fliehs, Calvin Locken, Rowan Hanson, and Titan Johnson.

Reminder of the Winter Sports Awards Night honoring our Basketball Players, Cheerleaders, and Wrestlers TONIGHT at 7:00PM in the Old Gym!
HOSA students learned and practiced a variety of new healthcare skills today at the Aberdeen Scrubs Camp.
They learned about a variety of careers including community health, nursing, telehealth, respiratory care, medical lab, surgical tech, exercise science, EMS, pharmacy, mental health and more!
It was a great day of creativity at the Eastern Regional Tournament held in Webster on Saturday, March 22! The Early Learning noncompetitive teams presented the solutions to their challenge and received ribbons for their accomplishment. Groton Area has two teams receiving 1st place in their challenge level and will travel to the state tournament to be held in Pierre on Saturday, April 5.
