FACS students were able to join Mrs. Johnson’s preschool class on Tuesday to help with a zoo animal art project! All students learned from each other and also that a giraffe’s “horns” are called ossicones!
Attention MS/HS Students interested in Wrestling next season:
Tomorrow (Wednesday at 12:15pm), there will be a quick meeting for anyone interested in wrestling next school year. Summer wrestling opportunities and lifting plans will be discussed! Lunch will be provided. If you are unable to make it, or are a 5th grader who is interested in wrestling, please contact Coach Darin Zoellner and let him know so that he can get information to you. Mark your calendars: The MS Track Meet that was postponed last week in Sisseton, will now be held on Monday, May 5th at 2pm in Sisseton!

The last day of school for the 2025 school year for students in grades K-11 will be Thursday, May 15, 2025. Junior Kindergarten and Pre-School will finish their school year on Wednesday, May 14, 2025. Dismissal on Thursday, May 15 will be at 12:00 PM for K-5 students and 12:10 PM for 6-11 students.

Groton Area HOSA students earned the chance to showcase their talents at the International Leadership Conference in Nashville, Tennessee in June.
This comes with extra costs including travel, lodging and registration fees. To support their trip, students are asking for donations to fill their calendars by the end of May!
If you wish to support their trip to compete on the highest level by sponsoring a day in May - please reach out to one of the qualifying students or Mrs. Hubbart. They are thankful for your ongoing support!
Good Morning Groton Area Elementary!!! To celebrate the success of our Heart Challenge Fundraiser, students are invited to dress as their favorite superheroes on Thursday, April 17! It's a fun way to recognize their amazing efforts and show off their super spirit—capes and creativity encouraged!
