The weather certainly didn’t stop the first annual Groton Area HOSA & FCS Remembrance Dinner from being a huge success! ❄️✨
Those who braved the snow and cold enjoyed an evening full of fun as they guessed their way through their dinner menu options—leading to plenty of surprises and even more laughter throughout the night!
One of the most amazing parts of the evening was the generosity shown by our community. Thanks to everyone who attended and supported the event, over $700 was raised for The Pantry in Groton. ❤️
Thank you to all who helped make this meaningful and memorable night possible! We can’t wait for next year’s event!

The 34th Annual South Dakota North Area Honor Band will present their concert on Saturday, December 6, 2025 at 4:00 PM at the Johnson Fine Arts Center at Northern State University. Admission prices for the concert are $6.00 for adults and $4.00 for students.
Dr. Larry Peterson, Director of Bands at Marshall High School in Marshall, MN and former Director of Bands at Huron High School and Augustana University, is the guest conductor for this year's event.
Groton Area High School students Carlee Johnson (French Horn), Jayden Schwan (Trumpet), and Novalea Warrington (Flute) will be in this year's Honor Band.

Christmas cards, holiday treats, lunchtime cooking, and new friendships… The Transition Christmas Camp we attended was the perfect way to kick off the holiday season! 🎄✨🎅🏼
The 4th grade enjoyed learning about dances from around the world. Students tried some of the dances and also shared dances from their different cultures!
