⚠️In place of the regularly scheduled fall parent/student-athlete athletic meeting, we have added an Athletic Policy Consent Agreement Form on BOUND that covers the important information traditionally discussed at that meeting.
Important Reminders:
- You must complete and upload the Health History Form annually!
- You must sign the 6 agreements on BOUND annually!
- Physicals (from a doctor) must be completed every three years.
- Students grades 6, 7, 9, and 11 must complete SWAY concussion testing.
📄The correct paperwork will be sent home with current 5th-8th graders today! Extra forms can be picked up in the MS/HS office with Sue.

The relay team of Makenna Krause, Rylee Dunker, Taryn Traphagen, and McKenna Tietz set a new Northeast Conference Record in the 4x200m Relay with an incredible time of 1:47.29!🏃♀️🔥 The previous record of 1:49.09 was set in 2010 by Albrecht, Clement, Jankord, and Suchor of Redfield-Doland. What an amazing accomplishment for these girls and a testament to their hard work, speed, and teamwork all season long. Congratulations ladies!! 🐅👏
🏃♂️🔥 Congratulations to GHS Senior Jayden Schwan on an incredible performance at the NEC Track Meet yesterday! Jayden broke the GHS school record in the 3200m run with a time of 10:04.87, surpassing the previous 51-year-old record of 10:04.90 set by Rick Kammerer in 1975.
Not only did Jayden rewrite the record books, he also brought home:

Due to the wind conditions at the moment and for today, it has been decided to push back the NEC Track Meet start time. The new start times for today in Milbank:

It is D.A.R.E. time for the 5th graders!
D.A.R.E. graduation will be held on Tuesday, May 19 at 2:00 p.m. at the high school. Each year, the students receive a T-shirt as a reminder of all their hard work and accomplishments throughout the program.
Thank you to POET for purchasing the shirts, and thank you to the high school FACS class for keeping our T-shirt banner up to date. It is always fun to see all of them displayed together!

The JH Girls also had a Record-Breaking Day at the Junior High NEC Meet today in Groton! The 8th Grade 4 x 100m Relay Team of Libby Johnson, Andi Iverson, Rowan Patterson, and Kinley Sandness ran a time of 56.58, to claim the 8th grade school record! The record was previously held by Katie Koehler, Audrey Wanner, Heather Lone, and McKenzie Menzia in 2013, with a time of 57.64! Congratulations, Ladies!! 🏃♀️🐾

It was a Record-Breaking Day for the Tigers in Groton for the Junior High Northeast Conference Track Meet! 🔥The 8th Grade 4 x 200m Relay Team of Trey Tietz, Trayce Schelle, Ivan Schwan, and Ryder Schwan not only broke the 8th Grade School Record, but also broke the 8th Grade NEC Meet Record with a time of 1:43.10. The record was previously held by Ryder Schwan, Keegan Kucker, Kyson Kucker, and Anthony Tracy in 2025 at 1:44.44. Congratulations, Gentlemen! 🏃♂️🐾
