Coach Carson, Coach Erickson, and Coach Biermann will be in the weight room every morning Monday-Friday from 6:30am-8:00am helping athletes put in the work and get better every day. This program is open to all students entering 6th-12th grade. Whether you’re a returning athlete or just getting started, this is a great opportunity to improve strength, build confidence, and grow alongside your teammates all summer long!💪🐯🐾

⛳️ Good luck to our Groton Area Girls Golf Team as they compete in the Region 1A Golf Meet today at Rocky Run Golf Course in Dell Rapids! Carlee, Claire, Halee, and Rylie tee off at 9:00am and will be battling for a spot in the State A Tournament in North Sioux City at Two Rivers on June 1st & 2nd. ⚠️In place of the regularly scheduled fall parent/student-athlete athletic meeting, we have added an Athletic Policy Consent Agreement Form on BOUND that covers the important information traditionally discussed at that meeting.
Important Reminders:
- You must complete and upload the Health History Form annually!
- You must sign the 6 agreements on BOUND annually!
- Physicals (from a doctor) must be completed every three years.
- Students grades 6, 7, 9, and 11 must complete SWAY concussion testing.
📄The correct paperwork will be sent home with current 5th-8th graders today! Extra forms can be picked up in the MS/HS office with Sue.

The relay team of Makenna Krause, Rylee Dunker, Taryn Traphagen, and McKenna Tietz set a new Northeast Conference Record in the 4x200m Relay with an incredible time of 1:47.29!🏃♀️🔥 The previous record of 1:49.09 was set in 2010 by Albrecht, Clement, Jankord, and Suchor of Redfield-Doland. What an amazing accomplishment for these girls and a testament to their hard work, speed, and teamwork all season long. Congratulations ladies!! 🐅👏
🏃♂️🔥 Congratulations to GHS Senior Jayden Schwan on an incredible performance at the NEC Track Meet yesterday! Jayden broke the GHS school record in the 3200m run with a time of 10:04.87, surpassing the previous 51-year-old record of 10:04.90 set by Rick Kammerer in 1975.
Not only did Jayden rewrite the record books, he also brought home:
