The Groton Area School District will be closed on Wednesday, February 18, 2026 due to the Blizzard Warning for our area. OST will also be closed.
Bentley Ehresmann brought home an impressive 8th place finish! The other five Tigers battled hard in tough 32- and 64-man brackets, finishing just one match away from placing. We are proud of the effort, growth, and heart these young athletes showed all season long. The future of Groton wrestling is bright! Great work, Tigers! 🖤💛

Attention parents of kids that sold HOTSTUFF PIZZA...
Pizza will be delivered sometime tomorrow after 3:45pm once school traffic is out of the way.
As soon as we have the pizza unloaded from the truck we will get right to sorting the orders out. As we get them sorted out I (Mrs. Jen) will send a message individually to the person whose order we have done and move onto the next one so we don't have people standing and waiting for us to pull your order.
We are hoping all orders get picked up shortly after receiving a message from us, so your pizzas don't start to unthaw in the process and we are hoping this will go smoothly with picking up orders as well. All orders need to be picked up by 6:00pm when OST closes for the day for we have limited freezer space to store any orders.
If you have any questions please feel free to reach out to Mrs. Jen and we will help you out any way we can and try and make this a smooth process tomorrow night.

Attention OST Parents.
Just wanted to give you a friendly reminder that next week Thursday February 12th OST will be open from 1-6 with it being early dismissal that day.
We will be CLOSED Friday February 13th due to teacher in-service day and some of us freshening up on our CPR skills.
We will be OPEN on Monday February 16th from 7-6. If you have not signed up for this day and need a spot please contact Mrs. Kunze or let the front office know so we can get you added onto the list. Kids will need a lunch, water bottle, and all outside gear when they come that day.
Have a great warmer than normal weekend.

- If you are attending for wrestling, please use the north doors on the court house side.

Congratulations to Carlee Johnson (First Chair Horn - Clark Band) and Novalea Warrington (9th Chair Flute - Lewis Band) for being selected to the 2026 South Dakota All-State Band!
Selection into All-State Band is by competitive audition which includes a live-judged performance of a student-selected solo, a prepared etude, selected scales, and sight reading.
All-State Band will be held at Rapid City Central High School and the Rushmore Theatre in Rapid City, South Dakota and will include rehearsals on Thursday, March 26, Friday, March 27, and Saturday, March 28 and will conclude with the Grand Concert at 4:00 PM on Saturday, March 28.
