Groton Area Elementary Students are... 100 Days Brighter!
There have been a few additions to the basketball schedule:
- Friday, February 2nd - BOYS C game with Vermillion at 4PM, JV will be at 5PM, with Varsity to follow.
- Tuesday, February 13th - Rescheduled GIRLS JV and Varsity Game with Dakota Valley. JV will begin at 4:30PM, with Varsity to follow.
Tonight will be our very first Senior Night for our Band! These ladies will be recognized before the Varsity GBB Game tonight! Thank you Emily, Cadence, and Faith for being dedicated members since the 5th Grade!
Your Groton Area Lady Tigers are currently ranked #5 in the NEC and will face the Huskies from Elk Point-Jefferson at 12:30PM in the main gym on Saturday at the Dak12/NEC Clash at Madison High School. Good Luck, Lady Tigers!

Congratulations to 6th Grader Liam Johnson for being accepted into the 2024 MS All State Jazz Band on Alto Saxophone. Liam is the first student to represent Groton at this event. MS All State Jazz Band will be held in Mitchell on Feb 2nd-3rd. Congratulations, Liam! We are proud of you!

"Schwan on the Lawn" greeted the students at the bus door Tuesday morning! I wonder where he will venture to in the morning?
Christmas is almost here, and the Elementary Student Council is celebrating with a candy cane fundraiser! Elementary students can buy candy canes for 50 cents each on Wednesday (12/20) and Thursday (12/21) morning before school. Come help us spread some holiday cheer!
