On Friday, Groton Area HS was visited by US Congressman Dusty Johnson. He graciously fielded questions from our HS student body for just over an hour providing with us all a great civics lesson.
Groton Area HS juniors are attending the Youth Career Expo at Northern State University today.
Today's cross country meet at Sisseton has been canceled and will not be rescheduled.
Groton FFA will be hosting a soup supper on Friday, October 4 from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM in the GHS Arena prior to the football game with Roncalli. Proceeds from the event will benefit Groton FFA. Meal includes soup, bread, bar, water/juice and cost is a free will donation.

For those of you heading to Garretson on Saturday for the soccer match, you'll need to take exit 115 to Dell Rapids. Turn right onto SD Hwy 115 for approximately 4 miles. Turn left on County 114 (250th St) for approximately 10 miles. Turn right onto SD Hwy 11 into Garretson.
