Students in Sports Medicine II had the opportunity to tour the sports medicine facilities at South Dakota State University today, along with some of the new athletic venues. They are capping the day off by watching the SDSU Women's Basketball game vs Wisconsin!

Mrs. Lone's fifth-grade students are studying physical changes and states of matter in their science curriculum. To highlight the significance of heat in these transformations, they are engaging in a soldering project. The students are tasked with creating a robot pin, which involves soldering its components together, allowing them to wear their finished creations. Additionally, they are utilizing solder to construct a bridge that will enable them to complete an electrical circuit.

Mrs. Dinger's second grade science class has been learning about dams. Today they had the opportunity to build their own.

A group of our Groton Area HOSA students had the opportunity to experience an Avera All Access event at Avera St. Lukes in Aberdeen today. They received tours, hands-on experience and met healthcare professionals from clinical laboratory, nursing, oncology, radiology, the ICU and cancer institute!

Recently, kindergarten students celebrated Donuts for Dads after learning about the letter "d". Thank you to Mrs. Gibbs, Mrs. DeHoet, and Mrs. Brudvig for inviting and spoiling all the dads with some delicious donuts!!

This group of 3rd-grade students has been reading the Little House on the Prairie book series. They needed to read 12 books and achieve scores of 80% or better on their AR tests to earn a popcorn and Little House on the Prairie movie day! Great Job!
