🍎 Apple Picking! 🍏

JK had a successful day of apple picking and fun! We started the field trip by looking at and talking about the different apple trees, then we played Apple, Apple, Worm (Duck, Duck, Goose), followed by reading “Ten Apples Up On Top” by Dr. Seuss and practiced balancing apples on top of our heads too, and lastly students went on an apple shape hunt!

Of course there was a lot of apple picking in between it all! Once we were back at school students used their apples to do a 5 senses activity and were also able to bring a couple apples home with them!

Homecoming Day #3 - Lights Out Day! 🖤🔦

Our Groton Area FFA Chapter has many activities for us this week for Homecoming!

🌽Kernel Guess in the Library - Elementary students bring 25 cents to guess! High School students bring $1! Voting closes Thursday at 3pm.

🍴Pork Feed - 5:30-7:30pm on Friday before the football game at the football field!

🐑Bo Peep Bingo Split-Pot Fundraiser - $10/ticket - need not be present to win. Drawing will be picked at the game Friday night!
