The Groton Area School District is proud of its students, staff, community, and school board members. At the February school board meeting, they were presented with Certificates of Appreciation from the Associated School Boards of South Dakota for School Board Appreciation Week.

Heather Lerseth-Fliehs, DVM is in her first year as a member of the Groton Area School District Board of Education.
Heather enjoys contributing in a positive way. She says, "it has been rewarding learning about the business and policy aspects of our school. We have amazing teachers and staff!"
